Relief At The Pumps
Mark Westwood will work to make California an energy leader by supporting clean renewable energy efforts in our state, and free us from our dependence on fossil fuels and foreign oil.

Our children deserve a well-rounded education that includes a balanced curriculum. We must properly fund our schools and education professionals. Test scores should never be tied to funding.
We must create a healthy and productive California through affordable universal single payer healthcare. We can no longer allow Californians to be used as ATM's for HMO's.
Work to restore the dream of home ownership and provide immediate and real relief to homeowners, not mega mortgage corporations and their CEO's.
We must stop corporate outsourcing of jobs to other countries. I will always stand with labor and workers to insure prevailing wages, and safe working conditions.
We must be smart on crime, and strongly support our public safety employees. We must protect our public employee retirement funds. I will be a strong voice against any attempt to raid or attack these funds for other purposes.
We need effective transportation alternatives to provide relief at the pump. The construction of new light fixed rail lines, new trains, and new non-fixed mass transportation will also mean new jobs for Californians in the 63rd A.D.
I will work to insure that all Californians are protected from bad consumer policies waged by corporations that are unfair, or abusive to consumers.
It's time our politicians served the people first. We have much work to do, and I will stand with you to make sure that Sacramento listens, and balance is restored in our State Capitol. Mark Westwood has a demonstrated track record of community service.
It is too late to mail your vote-by-mail ballot.

This was an election for the record books. Voter participation was huge. The country is off on a new and better course.
A great day is dawning.
But for us, in this race, we must wait for a final decision.
Counting absentee ballots and provisional ballots can take time. Especially during such an election as big as this.
We will have to be patient. We will have to be hopeful.
Of course, I remain optimistic that we have won.
But even though I must wait for the final results, I do not have to wait to say Thank You for all of your support.
You have been an amazing group of supporters. We have all done work we can be proud of. We have done a great job of representing our community.
Please accept my sincere gratitude. I want to thank all of you who made phone calls, who walked through the neighborhoods, who addressed envelopes, who placed a sign in your yard. All of you who helped bring us to this point.
The race isn’t over, and the hope goes on.
Thank you so much.
